*Online Registration received after August 15, 2026 will incur a late fee of $50
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Religious Education Classes are offered on Sunday Mornings during two different Sessions:
Session 1: Sunday 8:30am -9:55am (drop off no earlier than 8:20am)
Session 2: Sundays 10:15am -11:30am (drop off no earlier than 10:05am)
REGISTRATION PROCESS
All families will complete the online Registration Forms by clicking the Registration Button Below.
All families will pay online. Once you complete the online forms by clicking the button below you will be prompted to make an online payment.
If our child has an IEP for the upcoming school year, you will fill out the online forms when prompted during the online registration process. In addition, you will need to email a copy of the IEP to the Program Coordinator, Beth O’Keeffe Cleary, before the first class, at Reledforms@gmail.com
All parents need to read and acknowledge the OLS Religious Education Handbook that is posted on this page.
Students will be placed in the session time of your choice based on availability. The first session is much larger than the second session and we reserve the right to cap the class sizes to best fit the students’ needs. Please register as soon as possible as you are not guaranteed the same session as last year.
Registration inquiries received after September 1, 2026 will be considered if there is class availability, but it is up to the discretion of the Program Coordinator.
INFORMATION FOR NEW FAMILIES
If you are not a registered member of the OLS Parish, please email Holly Walsh at olscc@optonline.net who will assist you with the Parish Enrollment Process. Once you have completed the enrollment process with Holly, you can then proceed with the online enrollment steps above.
A copy of a Baptismal Certificate needs to be scanned and uploaded for each child, as part of the enrollment process for all first graders and new students to reledforms@gmail.com
Students transferring from other Parish Programs need to provide documentation of prior Religious Education Studies and copies of all sacramental records. Transfer Students should email the Program Director directly at olsreligiouseducation920@gmail.com
Thank you for sending your child/children to the O.L.S. Parish Religious Education program. Students will learn the importance of our faith in the context of a community. We look forward to enriching classes that help our students grow closer to God and learn about the love of Jesus. Our goal is that your child/children will learn the important tenets of the Catholic religion and learn to love the genuine practice of our faith.
Children prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion in first and second grade, and receive these sacraments in second grade. Confirmation is also a two year program and students will receive Confirmation in the eighth grade. A full two years of preparation is necessary before receiving these sacraments.
We are looking forward to a productive year that includes parent involvement, family catechesis and service opportunities.

CLASS PLACEMENT
Parish Religious Education Programs are preparation for life. Students are expected to attend religious education classes continuously from grades 1 through 8. Any student who drops out of the Program after receiving First Communion will be required to complete grade level(s) missed, unless he/she has participated successfully in another program. Final decision regarding class placement will be made in consultation with the religious Education Coordinator and Pastor.
